Venturi is seeking an Engineering Manager to join a rapidly growing healthtech/wellbeing startup in California. This organization has achieved remarkable success with little external investment, focusing on innovative treatments and AI technologies to support patients nationwide. As the Engineering Manager, you will lead the technical architecture and development of the platform, collaborating closely with the CTO and a small team of engineers to drive creation from the ground up. You will also manage third-party platform integration, ensure scalability as user numbers grow, and work on projects utilizing AI to engage users in new ways.
This role requires a mix of hands-on technical work and team management, with a focus on JavaScript, React, Node, real-time analytics, cloud infrastructure, and ML technologies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, at least 10 years of full-stack engineering experience with recent leadership roles, expertise in JavaScript and other relevant technologies, and a proven track record of building and scaling consumer-facing products. A passion for entrepreneurship or startup environments is essential along with knowledge of professional software engineering best practices.
