We are currently looking for a Director of Industrial Engineering to join our growing Northeast Region (NY/NJ/CT). The ideal candidate will oversee all engineering activities and projects within the region, including facility design, project development, planning, budgeting, and execution. As the Director of Industrial Engineering, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining overall engineering objectives and initiatives while leading an engineering team through hiring, development, and mentorship.
The Director will manage a comprehensive project management process to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints. Supervising staff daily to meet project milestones and regional goals while adhering to approved budgets will be a key responsibility. Additionally, the Director will lead high-priority projects ensuring organizational expectations are met while upholding core Operating Principles. This role requires precise planning skills and exceptional engineering services delivery.
To qualify for this position, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field with Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred. Postgraduate courses in business-related disciplines are advantageous. A minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects exceeding $500,000 in scope is required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CAD software is necessary along with excellent communication skills and strong analytical abilities. Military veterans are preferred candidates for this role due to their unique skill set and experiences.
