Engineering Manager

Wellascent Technologies is a global leader in the production of flat electromagnetic wires, specializing in enameled and PEEK wires for OEM customers and Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive industry. We are currently looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at our new factory in Grand Prairie, Texas. As an Engineering Manager at Wellascent, you will oversee process engineering, quality control, automation, and maintenance operations crucial to our manufacturing processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the entire engineering team, which includes process engineers, quality engineers/inspectors, and maintenance technicians. You will play a key role in transitioning new products and equipment into production areas while continuously improving manufacturing processes for enhanced efficiency, throughput, quality, setup, and cost optimization. Additionally, you will lead plant-level change management activities and ensure compliance with EHS regulations related to your job responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field with over 10 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, quality control, and maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively are essential for this role. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required along with experience working with vendors, customers, and employees at all levels of the organization. Knowledge of PLC systems such as Allen Bradley or Siemens is a plus.

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing
