We are currently seeking a dynamic Vice President of Engineering to spearhead our efforts in developing and commercializing Radioisotope Power Systems (RPS) technologies. As the Organization Lead for the Engineering Department, you will directly report to the Chief Product Officer. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and coordinate all technical aspects related to RPS programs while ensuring the continuity of Zeno's state-of-the-art technology and design capabilities. Your responsibilities will include managing nuclear design and technology programs, maintaining a highly skilled team, allocating necessary resources efficiently, managing departmental budgets, and cultivating positive relationships with key stakeholders.
As the ideal candidate for this position, you should hold a B.S. or higher in an engineering discipline from an accredited university with over 15 years of experience overall and at least 10 years in engineering management roles. You must demonstrate extensive technical expertise in engineering principles along with strong project management skills encompassing planning, scheduling, coordinating workloads effectively to meet deadlines. Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering organizations is essential, with preference given to candidates with Nuclear Design or Space Product Design backgrounds. Effective communication skills, proven leadership abilities, and the capacity to thrive in high-pressure environments are critical for success in this role.
