About the job
The Accountant is responsible for recording accounts payable activities, preparing financial transactions, assessing on fixed assets depreciation, and supporting with employees expenses control in line with Schneider Electric regulations, methods, and policies.
Key Activities
Support in developing monthly, quarterly and annual accounting statements and reports with supporting schedules and time-frames
Perform financial data entry such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, and develop reports
Follow up on General Ledger system setup and control systems security rules and cross validation rules in coordination with Information Technology function
Perform daily reconciliation between SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC A/P, suppliers statement and payment system to ensure transactions are accurately recorded
Record all financial transactions, journal entries and postings to General Ledger ensuring periodical update of chart of account
Control chart of accounts applications to open, edit or cancel accounts by internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Accounting

Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
