We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our NDU Ice Cream Team. In this role, you are responsible for the required technical manufacturing and engineering changes resulting from the ice cream category innovation and renovation of product, processes and systems in addition to providing technical assistance and competency development to the market engineering teams.
A day in the life of...
- Provide process engineering leadership in new product development projects
- Create/lead new projects focusing on development of innovative processes or renovation of existing processes related to ice-cream processing
- Direct the development of standardized specifications for process equipment and capital estimates of new equipment purchases for new products
- Lead the implementation from benchtop to Pilot Plant to factory scale for industrialization of new products or processes
- Execute R&D capital projects within Ice Cream NDU including scheduling, budgeting, installing, documenting and training
- Lead internal network contacts (Nestlé R&D community and production facilities) and external (leading technical communities and publications) to promote cross-fertilization of ideas and efficient sharing of information for new products and processes
- Represent organization at various technical seminars, workshops, and project review meetings
- Participate in VSED events as needed facilitator market events
- Stay current with Nestle quality safety systems regulatory requirements
