Hiring Network Engineer!!! Location: Lagos Job Type; Hybrid Remuneration: N600k monthly, HMO, Pension etc A client in the Telecommunications space with presence in Nigeria and Canada is looking to hire a Network Engineer Responsibilities . Monitoring of Network availability, quality, capacity and functionality • Immediate resolution and/or escalation of any dip in the indicators above to line manager • Anticipation and recommendation of preemptive actions to management • Preparation of periodic Network report as advised by the organization. • End to end capacity planning (switch and all associated links and nodes). • Undertake any other assignment as may be directed by the line Manager • Execution of required upgrades, integrations and other planned interruptions within agreed duration. Qualifications First degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. • Relevant work experience as typically acquired in 4+ years is required. • Prior experience with legacy PBX phone systems is preferred. • Telco experience is compulsory: Vendor, OEM, ISP or VoIP service provider Analyze network performance and provide improvement plans. • Configuration and troubleshooting of VoIP devices such as Audio codes, PBX etc. • Configuration and troubleshooting of other network elements such as Cisco routers, switches and access points. • NOC support for field engineers deployed to resolve VoIP. • Bill verification and reconciliation of 3rd party mobile voice partners. • Effectively managed projects from start to finish. • Expertise in servers and storage interconnectivity, Proficient in all UNIX/LINUX OS, Microsoft • Server Administrator and Network implementation • Proficient in VOIP Telephony (AVAYA, ASTERISK,3CX) Include SIP,H.323 Protocol, IVR. • XMPP, SMS Gateway (Kannel, Jasmin), MYSQL, Kamailo Server • Proficient in Software Programming which include, VOIP Mobile Development (Android • Studio) Python, Ruby on Rails, MVC, HTML, CSS,JS • • Extensive use of Microsoft office tools, Troubleshooting of PC Competency Required Must have a thorough knowledge of a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technologies. • Hands-on experience in network support and administration and in planning disaster recovery activities • In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP,OSPF& EIGRP), network concepts, network implementation, and configuration • Sound knowledge of root cause analysis, risk analysis, troubleshooting, and solving network issues • Comprehensive knowledge of network server management methodologies, voice over Internet protocols, and network operations • Avaya Implementation/Support Engineer (IP OFFICE, CM,SM,SMGR,ACCS,IPOCC,AACC) Network Admin Support • SIP, RTP, SDP,QoS • Enterprise Voice(Integration of Microsoft Teams to Premise/Cloud IP PBX(Avaya,Asterisk,Matrix) • Wireshark .3CX IP TELEPHONY Send application to careers@hytng.com using 'Network Engineer as subject of email'.
