Job Brief

We are looking for A Finance Manager to supervise the accounting activities and operations, including lists of accounts payable (accounts payable), accounts receivable (receivables), financial settlements, entries, etc., and ensuring that they are carried out according to the financial and accounting policies and procedures, in addition to following up the activities of the monthly and annual financial closing of ledgers and financial accounts, and ensuring the preparation of all accounting reports that show the financial position of the Company.


Duties and Tasks:

Assisting in evaluating real estate investment opportunities in commercial and residential space by performing financial modelling, due diligence, scenario/ sensitivity analysis, valuation analysis and identification of areas of key risks and opportunities.
Involvement in the whole real estate deal cycle from acquisitions to operation/exit
Conducting best-use study for white lands
Assist on the structuring for greenfield projects and acquisitions including development and income generating funds for commercial/residential real estate.
Maintaining database for pipeline projects along with monitoring the performance of existing real estate assets including monitoring and suggesting improvements to enhance performance/optimize revenue.
Conducting industry, economic and market research, and analysis on an on-going basis to formulate and assist in real estate portfolio strategy.
Working with external parties, asset management, advisors, and legal consultant.


Technical and specialized tasks:

Manage and follow up the application of the financial and accounting policies and procedures set by Mohammed Al Habib Real Estate Development Company and ensure compliance with them in all accounting activities in Eyal Arabia.
Supervising all accounting activities in the Company, including lists of accounts payable (credit) and receivable (debit), preparing financial settlements, entries, exchange vouchers, and other related activities, and ensuring their implementation in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
Ensure that collections and payments are made at the specified times, Such as collecting customer balances, paying suppliers’ dues, salaries, and others, in a manner that guarantees the preservation of the rights and interests of all parties.
Monitoring the financial movements of the Company, to ensure that all receivables, and financial movements have been recorded correctly, and to resolve any problems that may arise in this regard.
Ensure the payment of all governmental payments, including renewal of residence permits (Iqamas), social insurance (GOSI), licenses, fees, and other payments, and ensure that their payment is recorded in accordance with the approved policies and procedures.
Review cases of non-conformity in the accounts and financial and accounting reports related to accounts payable and accounts receivable and take the necessary actions accordingly.
Follow up the monthly and annual financial closing activities of the GL and financial accounts in the Company and ensure that purchase orders and purchase invoices are closed upon completion in coordination with the Procurement and Contracts Departments and make the necessary adjustments to close the supplier's balance in the designated records.
Supervising the preparation of accounting reports clarifying the financial position of the company, adhering to deadlines, and adhering to all legal requirements and approved financial policies and procedures.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of internal records and accounting files related to the business of the company and ensure easy access to them when needed.
Reviewing the financial reports in coordination with the internal and external auditors, and ensuring their compatibility with relevant policies and procedures, in a way that ensures smooth and unhindered workflow.
Ensure that the financial resources of the company are properly distributed to prevent misuse of resources, to ensure the achievement of the company's objectives.
Participate in preparing the necessary feasibility studies on potential projects within the scope of work and submit them to the line manager to support the decision-making process.
Carry out any other tasks and responsibilities related to the field of work, as assigned by the line manager.


Administrative tasks:

Hold periodic meetings with his subordinates; To ensure that their priorities are clear and to ensure an orderly and smooth workflow.
Ensure implementation and compliance with the operational and organizational policies and procedures set by Mohammed Al Habib Real Estate Development Company.
Preparing periodic reports on the department's activities and achievements and submitting them to the line manager.
Determine the human resource needs of the department and ensure that they are provided in accordance with the approved manpower plans.
Evaluate the performance of his subordinates in accordance with the approved performance evaluation criteria, policies, and procedures of the company and within the specified times, with the necessary recommendations based on the results of the evaluation.
Determine the training needs of his subordinates and ensure that they are reflected in the training plans, in addition to evaluating the results and effectiveness of the training activities, and their impact on the performance of the employees.
Follow up on administrative matters related to his subordinates, Such as vacations, departures, and others.
Recommending a caretaker for managing the department during his absence, if necessary.


Education:

Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field. (CFA/CAIA charter holders or candidate pursuing for CFA/CAIA will be preferred)


Experience and Skill:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with Real Estate development companies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in-dept skills in excel.
Excellent presentation skills.
Fluency in Arabic and English.

Key Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in finance management roles within the real estate industry
