As the Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of facility management activities. Your key responsibilities will include developing comprehensive plans for facility operations, maintenance, and servicing. You will lead the scheduling of preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and upgrades while ensuring optimal resource allocation and space utilization within facilities. Additionally, you will manage budgets, ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, collaborate with various departments, monitor performance metrics, and lead a team of planners.
To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Facility Management or a related field along with at least 5 years of experience in facility management or project management. Strong project management skills are essential, along with knowledge of facility management software and excellent communication abilities. Certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.
