Phoenician Capital, an esteemed investment management firm headquartered in New York City and registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. We specialize in managing capital for select family offices, global institutions, and high-net worth individuals. As the CFO at Phoenician Capital, you will have the opportunity to oversee fund shadow books and records, manage daily and month-end NAV calculations, as well as year-end planning. You will be responsible for managing PM relations with brokers, including cash movement and corporate actions. Additionally, you will oversee taxes, budgeting, payroll, IT functions, and office management for both the management company and GP. Your role will also involve preparing monthly attribution and contribution reports while liaising with fund administrators on investor onboarding matters. The ideal candidate for this position should possess 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in auditing investment funds at a major audit firm. A deep understanding of fund management practices, S.E.C rules and regulations, as well as investor relations is essential. Proficiency in Enfusion or similar fund management software is required. Excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills are also key qualifications we are looking for in our CFO candidates. A CPA qualification would be preferred.
