Chief Accountant (Real Estate Experience ONLY)

As the Chief Accountant at Tanami Properties, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts in adherence to IFRS and UAE financial regulations. You will be tasked with managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger functions, as well as ensuring VAT compliance and timely filing of returns. Additionally, you will supervise closing activities, monitor cash flow and investment strategies, develop internal controls, and assist in budgeting and financial analysis for strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance along with CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CA certification. You should have at least 5 years of accounting experience within the UAE real estate sector and a strong understanding of UAE VAT laws, IFRS standards, and local financial regulations. Proficiency in ERP accounting software such as SAP or Oracle is required. Strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, attention to detail under pressure are essential qualities we are looking for in applicants.
