As a Machine Learning Engineer focusing on NLP & Text Processing, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and deploying models to extract structured insights from unstructured text data. Working closely with a small team, you will be responsible for developing machine learning models for various NLP tasks such as entity recognition, text summarization, and classification. Your expertise will be instrumental in fine-tuning and optimizing these models for specific information extraction tasks without relying on cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include organizing and preprocessing large volumes of text data while adhering to data security standards. You will also develop data pipelines to manage text processing and storage within an on-premises environment efficiently. Furthermore, your role involves deploying machine learning models on-premises, ensuring optimal resource usage, as well as implementing model versioning processes to maintain performance over time. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore advanced NLP techniques, prototype new features, and document the entire model development pipeline for stakeholders.

Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or related fields. Proficiency in Python and NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers is required. Experience with machine learning frameworks along with deep learning frameworks like CNN and RNN is highly desirable.
