As an Investment Director at NEOM, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing the financial aspects of construction projects. Your role will involve analyzing project costs, preparing detailed cost estimates, monitoring budgets, identifying variances, and ensuring that projects are completed within their financial constraints. Working closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders, you will provide accurate financial information to support decision-making processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities of the Investment Director include preparing cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and proposals. You will also monitor project budgets and expenditures to control costs and align them with financial goals. Additionally, you will implement cost control processes, prepare financial reports including cost analyses and forecasts, identify potential cost risks, and develop strategies to mitigate financial exposure.
The ideal candidate for this role should have 10+ years of experience in technical advisory roles with both private and public sectors in transactions such as BOOT, BOT, PPPs. Knowledge of building codes in KSA, strong understanding of construction processes and materials, experience in financial analysis and cost management are essential. Experience in large-scale construction projects is highly desirable along with quantitative analytical skills. Strong communication skills are necessary to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders while coordinating multiple tasks/priorities.
