The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning and a proven track record of managing media accounts and creating successful events. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Responsibilities include managing the overall planning, execution, and delivery of events, developing partnerships with clients, building relationships with key stakeholders, overseeing event budgets, negotiating contracts with vendors, staying current on industry trends, communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders, generating leads, preparing sales presentations, collaborating with internal teams for go-to-market strategies, tracking performance metrics, seeking new business opportunities. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in relevant field and at least five years of experience in event planning and media account management. Strong project management skills are required along with the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills are essential as well as the ability to lead a team. Experience with event planning software is preferred. The Account Manager must have strong knowledge of media buying and planning including traditional and digital media. The candidate should be able to interpret data for making data-driven decisions independently or within a team environment.
