To be considered for this role, candidates must have at least 5 years of experience leading the tax function for large multinational corporations in the Middle East, preferably within a Big 4 environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tax compliance tasks across multiple geographies including UAE, KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Lebanon. This includes managing tax returns, obtaining withholding tax certificates, advance tax payments, economic substance returns filing, transfer pricing compliance, stakeholder engagement with various departments like Vendor Management and Legal, strategic planning and reporting duties such as aligning local tax issues with global standards.

The ideal candidate should possess a relevant bachelor's degree or professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) along with a strong background in finance or accounting focusing on taxation in the Middle East region. Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders including tax authorities is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills in performance management and employee development are key requirements. Additionally, familiarity with local tax laws and regulations in the Middle East is crucial.
