LVMH Fashion Group Middle East oversees the 3 Fashion brands CELINE, GIVENCHY and LOEWE for the GCC region (UAE, Qatar, KSA, Kuwait and Bahrain).
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior Financial Controller will be in charge of the Controlling for one of the brands, with responsibility of the full closing and budget processes, business analysis and internal control.
Working closely with the Regional and HQ teams, their main responsibilities will be:
CLOSING:
Lead monthly and annual closings for all the retail entities (Stock equation, P&L, Balance Sheet, Opex review), in accordance with Group requirements and IFRS.
Ensure timely reporting to the Group via consolidation tool.
Consolidate, summarize and present to Regional management the closing results, vs Budget and previous years, highlighting region performance, risks and opportunities.
STRATEGIC PLANNING & BUDGETING:
Manage full budget process (Budget + revisions).
Communicate and coordinate with the different Regional and HQ departments to forecast the topline, stock equation, CAPEX and OPEX (including A&P).
Report timely P&L, Balance Sheet and Tax to the Group.
Prepare and attend the budget meetings with HQ and Top Management.
Conduct business cases (SOP) for boutique openings, expansions or renovations.
BUSINESS ANALYSIS:
Attend weekly meetings with Retail and Store Managers from the whole region.
Analyze daily and weekly figures per store / product / client nationality vs competition.
Prepare and present monthly business review to the HQ, in collaboration with the Retail Manager.
INTERNAL CONTROL:
Assess and evaluate compliance to internal policies through regular testing and audits in boutiques.
Ensure key controls are implemented through the region
PROFILE
Education: Master in Finance / Accounting or related field.
Experience: At least 5 to 7 years of relevant finance experience (Financial Planning & Analysis, Controlling and Reporting).
Rigorous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on, very well organized, self-motivated.
Computer skills: must be advanced (proficient in Excel and Powerpoint).
Experience in Retail and/or Luxury Goods Industry a plus.
Fluent French and English, additional languages will be a plus
