We are seeking an experienced Engineering Director to lead our team in designing and constructing a state-of-the-art solar panel recycling facility in Cedartown, Georgia.
As the Engineering Director, you will oversee a team of engineers specializing in electrical, controls/automation, and mechanical disciplines. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and mentoring the engineering team to foster innovation and continuous improvement. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems for our new recycling facility. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruiting top talent to expand the engineering team and developing training programs for skill enhancement.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in an Engineering Manager role overseeing direct reports. Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and/or automation engineering are essential. Proficiency in project management software such as Smartsheet is preferred. Excellent leadership qualities with effective communication skills are crucial for success in this role. Relocation to Cedartown within 8-12 months is required.
