Your responsibilities will include defining and driving the Data Platform roadmap with an emphasis on scalability, optimization, and security. Additionally, you will architect, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda) while engaging senior stakeholders to translate business needs into effective data solutions. Implementing best practices in data governance, security, and CI/CD for data products will also be a key aspect of your role.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess at least 10 years of experience in the data space with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles. Expertise in AWS (Redshift, Glue, Lambda), SQL, Python, DBT is essential along with experience leading high-volume data teams and ensuring best practices in cloud data architecture. Strong stakeholder engagement skills are crucial as you will be required to effectively communicate complex data strategies with business leaders. A strategic mindset coupled with hands-on technical ability is highly desirable as you will be responsible for setting the vision and executing it.
