As they expand their operations, they are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Engineering to spearhead their technical team and drive innovation.

As the VP Engineering, you will play a crucial role in leading and scaling a multidisciplinary engineering team to foster a high-performance culture. Your responsibilities will include defining and executing the technical vision and roadmap in alignment with business goals, overseeing the development of scalable lending technology platforms, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive feature development and enhancements. Additionally, you will implement best practices for engineering excellence, mentor and develop engineering talent, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and data security best practices.

The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience leading engineering teams in high-growth fintech or lending startups, possess strong full-stack development skills across modern technologies, demonstrate expertise in cloud-based architectures and microservices, and exhibit exceptional leadership and communication abilities. Desirable experiences include prior involvement in consumer lending or financial services technology, familiarity with regulatory requirements in lending, remote team management skills, as well as knowledge of data science applications in credit decisioning.
