We are currently seeking a Vice President of Engineering to join our executive team and play a pivotal role in leading our passionate and high-performance engineering team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Engineering will oversee engine and generator development programs, providing technical direction, management, and leadership to a team of designers, analysts, engineers, technicians, machinists, and contractors. With plans for doubling our current engineering headcount over the next year, this individual must possess both technical expertise and exceptional people skills.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in rotary/diesel engine development, heavy fuel engine calibration expertise, as well as knowledge of power generation and storage electronics such as alternators, batteries, and PLCs. Experience working with government agencies like DOE or DARPA is desirable, along with a track record of success in leading startups or small companies within manufacturing environments. Additionally, strong presentation skills for engaging with stakeholders at various levels are crucial for this role.
