Discover an exciting opportunity to join a shared services group, revolutionizing invoicing accuracy and completeness in a high-volume environment. As a pivotal team member, you will apply your expertise to manage and implement processes that track and report invoice progression. This role encompasses the management of "revenue assurance and cash" targets, guaranteeing that billing is flawless.
**Your Mission**
- Utilize data-driven insights to proactively detect discrepancies and take immediate corrective measures within billing, rating, and invoicing cycles.
- Maximize collectability through the provision of high-quality invoices, complete with essential backup documentation.
- Drive automation within administrative tasks using the latest tools, enhancing efficiency and delivery speed.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to support the creation of month-end accruals and cut-off management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee KPI reporting, ensuring alignment with customer objectives within Shared Services.
- Develop and manage control reporting to proactively identify process gaps and mitigate risks.
- Document processes and establish key controls, facilitating effective control mechanisms and timely exception handling.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance processes continually, introducing automation through RPA implementation.
- Support Revenue accruals following IFRS standards for diverse transportation services.
- Ensure offshore shared services groups maintain exceptional quality standards.
- Provide additional support to the Director of Administration, addressing ad hoc requests.
- Perform necessary research as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Post-secondary education in Finance with an Accounting Designation.
- Strong experience in process documentation and key control identification.
- Over 5 years of progressive business/finance experience, including audit and control.
- Proof of accounting certification (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA).
