Job Description

Reporting to the CFO, the Director will lead the corporate FP&A team and implement best of breed industry practices and processes in a dynamic and growth driven environment.

Key responsibilities will be to:

Establish and maintain outstanding, trusted relationships with leaders across the business units and functions
Build, structure and manage a team of talented Financial/Business Analysts across the Company’s business units
Develop an FP&A framework of standardize processes
Coordinate the development and reporting of budgets and forecasts, across business divisions
Implement and lead the monthly business review process
Provide business insights into company performance and value creation opportunities based on the integrated analysis of financial and operational data
Develop and monitor key performance indicators and metrics, in order to monitor financial and operational performance of the company
Produce periodic and ad hoc reports for senior management and various departments as required
Support business cases relating to new investments, strategic and other business decisions
Evaluate competitor data in order to analyze/determine market trends, growth opportunities and relevant operational benchmarks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, accounting, or finance
CPA, an asset
Minimum of 10 years of experience in FP&A or analytical functions in a multi-site manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong business and quantitative aptitudes
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, preferred
Analytical, modelling skillset and familiarity with business intelligence & reporting tools (Cognos, Power Query and/or Power BI, preferred)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Bilingual, written and spoken
