Profile Middle East LLC is a leading company in the oil and gas industry in Qatar, dedicated to delivering high-quality projects while upholding workplace equality and diversity. We are currently seeking a Project Control Manager to join our team and support the Project Manager in maintaining projects within approved budgets and ensuring risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
As a Project Control Manager, your mission will be to organize and integrate scheduling, cost control, and risk management functions to carefully plan and control project activities in terms of time, budget, and scope of work. You will create a schedule/cost/risk awareness atmosphere among all project participants, ensuring effective project control throughout.
During the initial phase of projects, you will design and set up project control systems based on project complexity, contract requirements, risk analysis outcomes, and control goals. Responsibilities include issuing project control procedures, WBS, Risk Management Plans, Contract Master Schedules, internal Control Budgets, Cash flows, as well as supervising cost control and scheduling systems coherence. Additionally, you will specify Project Control Requirements for Subcontractors and Vendors to maintain progress control.
Throughout the project execution phase, you will maintain the Project Control System alongside risk analysis to assess project status accurately. Reporting on progress with reference to baselines and Control Budgets will be crucial. You will also oversee reports required by clients and internal procedures while directing and supervising the Project Control team's work. Your role involves fostering team spirit, ensuring clear understanding of control philosophy/systems among team members.
To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields with at least 15 years of experience in project control (10 years specifically in Oil & Gas EPC projects). Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6), cost control systems, contract management principles, financial reporting, risk analysis methodologies is essential. Fluency in English (written/spoken) is required.
