Job Purpose:

The Logistics Business Development Director is responsible for promoting business growth and expanding the company's customer base in the logistics industry. The role-holder should increase the airport's non-aeronautical and commercial revenues by expanding the business, developing sustainable sources of commercial revenue from DACO assets, and managing the property portfolio to its fullest potential.

The role-holder is expected to establish effective business processes and future commercial strategies, cultivate excellence in the customer experience, develop team members to reach their utmost potential, exhibit positive behavior, and demonstrate DACO values.

The role-holder will concentrate on leading commercial negotiations (including rent reviews), transforming the customer experience, and hunting for new business opportunities within both logistics and the real estate sectors while maintaining and evolving DACO's current commercial model to grow overall revenues and number of investors.




Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and networking with potential clients in the logistics & Real Estate Sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for business expansion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and marketing, to develop customized solutions for clients and ensure seamless service delivery.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the company's value proposition and competitive advantages.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and long-term business relationships.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify market opportunities and adjust business development strategies accordingly.
Provide regular reports and updates to the General Manager and Vice President on business development activities, pipeline, and performance metrics.
Stay updated on industry regulations, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Performs all other duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner.

Minimum & Desired Job Requirement (Education Prerequisites):



Bachelor degree in a Business Management or related field
(Equivalent business experience will also be considered)


Years of Experience :



13 years’ experience.


Skills:



Strong Relationship building skills, Experienced Commercial Operator (Commercial Acumen) , Highly Developed Negotiation skills Team Development, Leadership & Performance management. Arabic Speaker.
