As the Finance Manager at Masdar, you will play a crucial role in formulating and implementing financial policies and accounting procedures in collaboration with senior management. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial and accounting control processes to ensure the accuracy of internal control systems and accounting information. You will be responsible for managing general ledger activities, payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, and Oracle data maintenance. Additionally, you will work closely with senior management to develop corporate policies governing fund collections, disbursements, custody, credit extension, and choice of depositories.

In this role, you will also be tasked with monitoring the annual budget preparation process in consultation with senior management. You will oversee the creation of management information reports related to performance metrics, compliance issues, tax matters, insurance requirements, budgeting concerns, internal controls review, and risk management actions. Presenting these reports to the Board will be a key part of your responsibilities as Finance Manager at Masdar.
