As an NGHC Generation Dispatcher, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the real-time operation of the power system to uphold its reliability and stability. Your role will involve coordinating with generation, transmission, and interconnected entities to ensure the smooth integration of renewable energy resources. In times of potential system disturbances or extreme weather events, you will implement corrective actions and contingency plans to maintain grid stability, minimize disruptions to electricity supply, and coordinate emergency response efforts effectively.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess practical experience in reviewing and validating Telecom, SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition), EPMS (Electrical Power Management System) / HCIS (Hydrogen Control & Information System), and SAS (Substation Automation System) engineering tasks. You must also be willing to work in 24/7 shift schedules at the control room as per Saudi Arabian labor rules. Your ability to collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory agencies will be crucial in addressing emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
