As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing production planning and scheduling processes to ensure efficient operations that meet customer demands. Working closely with various departments including Planning, Production, Maintenance, Logistics, Stores, QC, Purchasing and Sales, you will optimize resource utilization and minimize lead times by creating streamlined production schedules. Additionally, you will implement stringent quality control processes to maintain the highest product quality standards while continuously driving improvements in manufacturing processes.

In this role, you will also oversee inventory levels and collaborate with the procurement team to minimize excess inventory while ensuring timely sourcing of materials. Budget management is another key aspect of the role where you will monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Leading a high-performing team, you will foster a culture of collaboration and accountability while conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback to team members.

The ideal candidate for this position holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment. Experience in Furniture Manufacturing or Fit-Out industry is preferred along with proven expertise in workforce management and safety protocols enforcement. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies such as Six Sigma or Kaizen would be advantageous.
