Our client is looking for a dynamic and well experienced Marketing Director to be based in Dubai, UAE.
Job Purpose:
The Marketing Director is responsible to develop and introduce marketing strategies to improve current business, improve market penetration, identify new market opportunities, and ensure the effective development and promotion of the company and its offerings. The Marketing & Communications Director strategically plans and leads the conceptualization, development, integration and implementation of all marketing, communication, public relations and branding strategies; executes a brand positioning strategy for the company; and develops and implements new marketing initiatives that strengthen the company's reputation nationally and internationally. The Director is also responsible to monitor and analyse the success of all marketing and advertising campaigns, public events and contribute to the growth and brand image in terms of enrolment, lead conversion and brand reputation.
Key Responsibility Areas:
• Lead change by driving disruptive marketing, communication, public relations and branding strategy adding value and creating transformational change within the institution.
• Critically evaluate the costs and benefits of all new ideas and initiatives to ensure that resources are appropriately directed and to keep the institution ahead of its competitors.
• Analyse trends in the global business environment with respect to providers, advise and support to develop new initiatives and services that are responsive to market demands and expansion plans.
• Analyse consumer behaviour and determine customer personas, identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.
• Align & merge Marketing & Communications calendar with Recruitment calendar ensuring that all marketing related activities are in line with recruitment related activities.
• Increase lead conversions by identifying measures and adopting result-oriented approach.
• Develop and monitor a marketing plan to produce high quality prospective leads.
• Lead, direct and implement Digital Marketing including display, digital video/audio, SEM/PPC and paid social media specific to each geographic region.
• Lead and implement marketing initiatives to increase the enrolment.
• Plan and organize the implementation of the brand strategy to ensure the achievement of all targets in support of the brand strategy.
• Evaluate brand profile, define actions to enhance your brand performance and undertake measures towards strong brand protection by incorporating legal advices and appropriate actions.
• Build and establish the CRM strategy for the institution that encompasses online and offline channels as well as the prospective database.
• Conduct competition analysis, benchmarking, PR monitoring and implement best practices to promote PR strategies.
• Plan, organize and direct key events and programs along various stages of event development including event timeline, committee assignments and responsibilities, event details, execution of events, post event details and financial tracking.
• Devise, plan and implement strategies to prioritize marketing service requests and plan service requests ahead of time to ensure quality in content and delivery.
• Review and report effectiveness of Marketing initiatives, projects, processes and activities and implement remedial actions as necessary.
• Conduct market analysis, performance analysis, budget proposal and action plan definition in order to reach the defined target.
• Define the annual budget and budget revisions for Marketing Department in line with marketing strategy.
• Monitor progress of Marketing department against KPIs on a regular basis and review department objectives, recommend improvements and remedial actions in line with business priorities.
• Provide professional development support, ensure to set department and employee level objectives and action plan within the institution's timeframe, provide regular feedback through formal and informal methods as well as periodic documented feedback as part of mid-year review and conducts timely performance appraisal for direct subordinates.
• Define team structure, individual objectives and manage career expectations with the support of HR department.
• Support with the development of manpower planning, succession planning for key positions, effective staffing, recruitment, and onboarding processes in coordination with Human Resources department by effectively contributing to development of Job Descriptions, placing timely hiring requests, selection of candidates, providing department specific onboarding, setting probationary objectives and completing probationary reviews within the institution's timelines.
• Experience in student recruitment will be highly desirable.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a relevant field ex: Marketing, Global Media Marketing, Global Communications, Business Administration etc.
• Relevant certification related to Marketing & Communications for ex: CMP, CIM, Certifications in Project Management – for ex: PMP, PMI, CSM
• Minimum of 10 to 12 years of work experience and established track record in the field of in the field of Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Lead Generation and Branding.
• Experience in higher education field is highly desirable.
• Full English proficiency, French and Arabic will be highly desirable.
