Finance Manager - RBWM Segments

Emirates Islamic, a leading bank in the United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Finance Manager for its RBWM Segments. The RBWM Finance Unit oversees all financial activities related to the Retail Banking and Wealth Management business of the Bank, focusing on performance management, planning & budgeting, and financial reporting & controls. The Unit plays a crucial role in supporting business performance, financial accounting & reporting, and investor relationship activities.

As a Finance Manager within the RBWM Business Finance team, you will collaborate closely with Segment Heads to provide valuable financial insights for key tactical and strategic decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will include working with Mass, Priority, and Business Banking teams to ensure that management information remains relevant and supports effective decision-making. You will also be responsible for resolving data issues, answering finance-related queries from Business Heads & stakeholders, and developing a robust medium-term strategy covering key opportunities and risks.

To excel in this role, you should be a qualified accountant or hold an MBA with specialization in Finance, coupled with 8-12 years of post-qualification experience in the Finance function of a large bank with exposure to business finance. Experience in retail banking is essential. Strong knowledge of finance concepts, business performance management, planning, along with excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Additionally, you should possess the ability to interact effectively at senior management levels.

• 8-12 years of post-qualification experience in Finance function of a large bank
