ETG, a leading agri-commodities company in the United Arab Emirates, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. Our mission is to ensure optimal financial performance by providing accurate reporting and analysis, managing procurement costs, maintaining margins aligned with business plans, overseeing inventory management, ensuring statutory compliance, and collaborating closely with various departments to drive business success.

As the Financial Controller at ETG, your key responsibilities will include timely preparation of monthly management accounts as per Group requirements on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. You will be responsible for closing books of accounts and reconciling bank statements, debtors, creditors, and stock. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in preparing yearly budgets, managing receivables and payables effectively, overseeing fund management and cash flow preparation. Your expertise in currency management will be essential in controlling costs against budget and liaising with auditors for finalizing statutory accounts.

The ideal candidate for this role should be a qualified CA/ACCA with 8-10 years of post-qualification work experience in Agri Commodities with Africa region exposure. You should possess strong analytical abilities, proficiency in hedging and FX strategies, risk management skills, and an understanding of dynamic prices of agro products from various procurement hubs. Proficiency in Tally ERP Microsoft Navision-Pastel implementation along with Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Powerpoint is required. Excellent communication skills are a must to tailor feedback effectively to different stakeholders' needs and styles.
