Our client, one of the prominent Family Groups in the UAE with a diverse portfolio of operations, is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their trading business. As a key member of the executive team, the COO will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring operational efficiency to achieve the company's growth objectives. We are looking for a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills to enhance productivity and performance across all trading divisions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational leadership by aligning daily activities with the strategic direction set by the Group CEO and Board of Directors. Collaborating with the executive team, the COO will develop and implement business strategies that promote growth, profitability, and sustainability. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational success will be crucial in ensuring targets are met while identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancements across all trading operations.

In addition to leading and developing a high-performing operations team, the COO will work closely with the CFO to manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation effectively. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while building strong relationships with stakeholders such as clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies will be essential. By monitoring industry trends and market dynamics, the COO will inform strategic decision-making and identify new opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance (MBA preferred), at least 15 years of experience in senior management roles within large groups in GCC countries like Logistics or Automotive Trading sectors.
