Job Description:
As an Accounts Payable Officer at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort, you will play a crucial role in managing the Account Payable function to support effective cash flow management and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly reports by summarizing aging reports, processing daily invoices accurately, recording petty cash vouchers, preparing account allocations, and ensuring timely reimbursements. Additionally, you will be responsible for batching invoices, obtaining approvals from department heads, preparing cheque payments for review and signature by senior management, and reconciling month-end inventory book balances.

Furthermore, as part of your role, you will prepare monthly accruals for goods and services received but not invoiced, assist in reconciling balance sheet schedules including advanced payments, ensure accurate updating of books and records in a timely manner, and participate in month-end closing procedures. Flexibility is key as you may be required to rotate within different sub-departments of the Accounting & Finance Department based on operational needs. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders will contribute significantly to the financial operations of our esteemed resort.
