FP&A Director

We’re delighted to again be partnering with a Consumer Pharmaceutical business headquartered here in London, who are on the search for an FP&A Director to lead the FP&A Function.
Reporting to the Global VP Finance, responsibilities include for leading financial planning and analysis, supporting executive management, anticipating general business needs and driving decision making through sound financial & commercial analysis. You will collaborate with market specialists to adapt to changing environments and ensure the success of the business.
As a leader and manager of a team of 5 direct reports, you will effectively communicate with stakeholders and contribute to the development of strategic plans.
Due to the nature of this business, the ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, experience working in a similar global role in a fast-paced sales environment, a focus on big data and likely come from a Pharma Services / FMCG / fast paced Consumer business.
Responsibilities:
Aggregating financial data for the global business unit (over $1.5 billion)
Generating monthly management presentations and analysis
Overseeing the quarterly operating review process
Steering the financial planning & forecasting procedure
Crafting thorough management reports & analysis while upholding financial reporting integrity for sourcing organizations
Managing the $150 million commercial finance operations
Supervising a team of 5 finance and analytics professionals
Collaborating with a vast network of finance teams (BAU teams and shared services)
Cultivating relationships and offering strategic support to business partners
Developing and managing intricate financial models to aid in business decision-making
Engaging as a business partner with key executives in preparing and analysing cross-functional strategic initiatives and project work
Requirements:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics preferred.
CIMA qualification desirable.
Minimum 10 years of commercial experience in business planning and analysis.
Strong communication skills to convey complex financial information.
Experience in pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Retail, or Joint Ventures preferred.
Proficiency in data analysis and presentation.
Experience with data extraction tools like SAP, Tableau, and Alteryx advantageous.
