We are currently seeking a Portfolio Monitoring and Operations Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning of our lending operations by generating reports for various stakeholders, analyzing financial data, monitoring borrower performance, and maintaining effective communication with clients. You will be responsible for preparing reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the Board of Directors, Credit Administration, Business Development Team, and funders. Additionally, you will review loans for accuracy of risk rating, prepare modifications of loan terms as necessary, and maintain frequent communication with delinquent borrowers.
The ideal candidate for this position must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in finance or related field. You should have 2-4 years of experience in risk administration practices with knowledge of commercial and small business lending processes. Strong operational systems understanding is essential for this role along with proficiency in Windows-based software, especially Excel with expertise in pivot tables and lookup formulas. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
