The Marketing and Communication Director will play a critical role in building and maintaining the organization's brand, driving revenue growth, and ensuring that the organization's messaging is clear and effective.



Responsibilities:



Developing and implementing marketing and communication plans: responsible for creating and executing marketing and communication plans that align with the organization's overall strategy. This will involve identifying target audiences, developing messaging, selecting channels, and tracking and reporting on results.
Managing the marketing and communication team: overseeing a team of marketing and communication professionals, including copywriters, graphic designers, web developers, and social media specialists. You will provide guidance, direction, and support to help them achieve their goals.
Brand management: responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's brand identity. This may involve developing brand guidelines, overseeing the creation of marketing materials, and monitoring and responding to online brand mentions.
Public relations: responsible for managing the organization's relationships with the media, customers, and other stakeholders. This may involve developing press releases, responding to media inquiries, and managing crisis communications.
Market research and analysis: responsible for conducting market research to understand the organization's target audience and competitors. This may involve analyzing customer data, conducting surveys, and monitoring industry trends.
Budget management: responsible for managing the marketing and communication budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
Oversee the execution of: digital marketing campaigns, events and promotions, organization's website.
Build strong relations cross-functionally: Work closely with other departments within the organization, to ensure that marketing and communication activities are aligned with overall business objectives.


Qualifications:



A BA in Marketing or any related field, and an MBA is preferred.
15+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in a director role.
Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Ability to think strategically, identify growth opportunities, and develop effective marketing and communication plans that drive results.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions.
Ability to lead and inspire a team of professionals.
