Primary Duties
The Reporting and Accounting Manager is a key leadership and management position in the KSA FC&R team. Reporting to the finance Director KSA and functionally to the Regional Head of FC&R. the position leads the KSA FC&R departments to ensure regular operations and reporting requirements are efficiently administered and compliant with Richemont s finance policies, procedures, and international accounting standards. Key to the position is oversight and management of risk, including financial, legal and regulatory requirements. The position will have strong focus on continuous improvement, and establish a culture of trust, cooperation, compliance, and financial control with all internal and external stakeholders.
The primary duties of the position include:
• Leading the FC&R accounting departments with a focus on best practice, compliance, and learning to create an enabling environment that achieves the targets and goals of the function.
• Ensuring financial reports are accurate and compliant with Richemont policies and international accounting standards by maintaining oversight and responsibility of financial transactions.
• Assessing procedures, processes, and systems with an emphasis on efficiency and innovation to enable the KSA FC&R team to provide business orientated solutions to Maisons and Functions.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Management
• Manage and oversee the FC&R accounting departments, working closely with and supporting department supervisors to set clear objectives, responsibilities and targets.
• Oversight recruitment, training & onboarding, performance management, and professional development of team members, with the goal to continually building and developing the capacity of the KSA FC&R accounting team. Confirm team member development plans and assess their performance by identifying learning and development opportunities which enables succession planning.
• Actively support and participate in the regional Community of Experts, working with other markets/entities to share knowledge, best practices and opportunities to improve the FC&R regional and local function.
• Establish a culture of trust, collaboration, compliance, and financial control with all internal and external stakeholders.
Accounting
• Oversee and supervise month end closing processes with the General Ledger team. Including Group closing deadlines and checklists, complete supporting documents, reviews and sign off approvals in compliance with Richemont internal controls.
• Review and escalate balance sheet variances and risks, investigating root causes with the General Ledger team and ensure compliance with Richemont policies and procedures.
• Monitor debtor management and credit control with the Accounts Receivable and Credit Control team, support the team to meet collection targets, minimise overdue debts, and credit risks.
• Work closely with the Accounts Payable team to ensure the supplier invoice process is efficiently administered and compliant with local laws and regulations and Richemont procedures.

Key Requirements
Education
• B.Com/ Finance Graduate/Masters Degree, MBA or CPA preferred
Experience
• A minimum of 10 years experience in accounting and finance in managerial positions, audit experience would be an advantage.
• Experience in the retail industry would be an advantage
Technical skills / abilities
• Strong accounting and reporting skills
• Extensive knowledge of accounting department processes
• Knowledge of computerised accounting system especially SAP
• In depth knowledge of International Accounting Standards / IFRS
• Strong knowledge in KSA VAT
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools, including MS Teams, SharePoint
