HSE Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled HSE Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. This role involves conducting regular inspections and audits of work sites, facilities, and equipment to identify potential hazards, risks, or environmental impacts. Additionally, the HSE Engineer will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and operational teams to provide guidance on HSE matters and develop risk assessment strategies.

Key responsibilities include conducting HSE training for employees and contractors to promote safety awareness and compliance with protocols. Monitoring HSE performance metrics such as incident rates and safety compliance is essential for providing recommendations for continuous improvement. The successful candidate will also coordinate with regulatory authorities to align all HSE programs with legal requirements.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification is preferred. With at least 8 years of proven work experience in HSE management, the candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and environmental management systems. Strong analytical skills along with excellent communication abilities are crucial for collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Fluency in both Arabic and English is preferred for this position.
