We are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. The Financial Controller will be responsible for tracking cash flow, financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and budget management. Duties include month-end closing activities such as journal entry preparation, accrual calculation, and reporting pack creation. The role also involves coordinating with various stakeholders in finance matters, supporting HR in payroll processing, ensuring accounting information integrity through transaction recording and verification, managing day-to-day financial operations like payroll and invoicing, compliance with accounting policies and laws, VAT returns preparation, treasury operations management including bank payments and funding relationships.
The ideal candidate should hold a Master/Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with professional qualifications such as CA or ACCA. A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial accounting & reporting is required along with expertise in technical accounting standards, ERP systems, financial planning & analysis. Proficiency in MS Excel is essential for managing large data sets effectively. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking capabilities, organizational skills are desired qualities for this role. Preference will be given to candidates with CPA or CFA qualifications as well as regional experience within the UAE.
