We are currently seeking a Senior Officer in Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team. Reporting directly to the VP Finance, the primary purpose of this role is to support performance management and cost analysis for internal reporting, facilitating informed decision-making across all departments within the bank. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building new cost management information, preparing analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhancing MI reports for improved decision-making processes.
Key responsibilities of this role include producing reports for various stakeholders such as EMC, ALCO, and Business Heads, conducting reconciliations, analyzing cost drivers against budgets, and collaborating with departments for data gathering and recommendations. The successful candidate will also play a vital role in supporting system implementations, streamlining processes for efficiency gains, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality reporting requirements. Additionally, ad hoc financial reports and analyses will be prepared as requested by senior management.
To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field along with a professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CA. A minimum of 5 to 7 years of post-degree experience in banking or finance sectors performing similar roles is required. Other essential skills include an analytical mindset, knowledge of banking products/services, strong communication skills in English language, proficiency in MS Excel/PowerPoint/Word applications with attention to detail under pressure situations.
