Director of Business Development

We are looking for a Business Development Director for our client in Payment Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient business development plans for the MEA Region. They will manage the market from a sales perspective, set and monitor the sales team pipeline, deliver on agreed sales targets, position the portfolio as market-leading solutions, negotiate pricing & close contracts, etc. The candidate should have a strong background in business development and sales within financial services, understanding of cultural differences, proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, and experience in delivering under pressure.

• Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of experience in business development and sales in financial services
• Strong understanding of the financial services landscape, including regulatory frameworks, industry trends, and market dynamics

• - Proven quota-carrying sales performer with experience selling on C-Level
• - Strong cross-functional communication and project implementation skills
• - Ability to handle complex projects and synergize internal and external resources
• - In-depth industrial experience in Fintech/payment industry
