Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

flynas, a leading airline in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their team in Riyadh. As a key member of the Finance department, this role directly reports to the VP Financial Planning & Cost Control. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing financial strategies that align with Flynas's vision and business objectives.

Responsibilities include collaborating with business executives to collect inputs for budgeting and forecasting processes. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will work closely with all departments to consolidate the annual budget, analyze inputs critically, and challenge them before incorporation. Monthly management reports will be prepared, detailing financial performance, operational KPIs, route profitability analysis, and deep dives into revenue and cost items.

In addition to financial planning tasks, this role involves supporting complex financial analysis projects, evaluating findings, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management regarding strategic transactions. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will track company-wide financial results and key ratios/metrics while providing insights for decision-making. Cost reduction initiatives will also be part of the responsibilities as part of the CTO team (cost transformation office), exploring ideas for optimizing revenue across all areas of the company.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 4-8 years of experience in FP&A and Management Reporting. An MBA or professional certification such as CIMA is a plus. Advanced Excel skills are required along with strong analytical abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, along with being hard-working, reliable, and having experience with BI tools.
