At SGS Saudi Arabia, we are currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager (QA/QC) with over 12 years of industry experience to oversee project quality control within the construction sector.

As the Quality Manager at SGS Saudi Arabia, your primary responsibility will be to lead quality management efforts for construction projects. You will develop and implement comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems tailored to the needs of large-scale projects. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements is crucial as you review and approve quality-related documentation such as inspection plans and non-conformance reports. Additionally, you will oversee quality control aspects throughout all stages of construction from design to completion while managing a team of QA/QC professionals to monitor performance effectively.

Your role at SGS Saudi Arabia will involve identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in quality management processes by conducting root cause analysis on quality failures. It is essential that you possess in-depth knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001), local construction regulations specific to Saudi Arabia (KSA), as well as extensive understanding of construction codes and standards applicable in the region. Strong leadership skills are required to inspire excellence within your team while collaborating effectively with stakeholders including contractors and designers.

Ideal candidates for this position should have a minimum of 12 years of QA/QC experience in large-scale construction projects along with at least 5 years in a management role overseeing project quality control. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is necessary, along with professional certifications in Quality Assurance such as ISO 9001 or Six Sigma being highly desirable.
