Aramis Search, a prominent energy business in the United States, is currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Engineering to oversee midstream and downstream engineering projects. Our company is dedicated to ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance in all aspects of pipeline, storage, and transportation infrastructure. We are looking for an individual with deep expertise in midstream and/or downstream operations, project management, and engineering best practices.
As the Director of Engineering at Aramis Search, you will be responsible for leading and managing our engineering team. This includes providing technical direction, mentorship, and performance oversight. You will oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of midstream and downstream assets while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations such as PHMSA, DOT, OSHA, and environmental standards. Additionally, you will develop and implement engineering strategies that align with our operational goals.
Key responsibilities also include managing capital projects within budgetary constraints and timelines to ensure successful completion. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, HSE (Health Safety Environment), regulatory affairs, and commercial departments. Furthermore, you will evaluate new technologies to enhance efficiency in midstream operations.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred), along with 10+ years of experience in midstream engineering—5 years of which should be in a leadership capacity. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred along with strong knowledge of design principles, construction processes, integrity management practices,and regulatory compliance requirements. Excellent leadership skills coupled with effective communication abilities are essential for success in this position.
