We are currently seeking an Engineering Group Lead to join our team in Dundee, MI 48131 on a long-term contract basis. The Engineering Group Lead will be responsible for implementing continuous improvement initiatives for existing capacity while ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of production lines to achieve the highest level of quality and waste elimination. This role involves leading engineers towards operational improvement goals, managing project schedules and budgets effectively, participating in simultaneous engineering activities for new model programs, driving kaizen projects with the engineering team to reduce waste through prioritization.

The ideal candidate for this position must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in Machining Processes and supervisory experience. Strong communication skills are essential along with proficiency in Microsoft Suite tools. The role requires travel up to 40% within Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana to equipment suppliers using a vehicle during working hours. Additionally, candidates must be willing to work any shift including overtime when necessary. • 3+ years' experience in Machining Processes
