The ideal candidate for this role will possess at least 5 years of mid-tier industrial capital goods manufacturing plant management experience. They should have a strong background in process implementation, inventory/logistics management, team leadership, and high business acumen. Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles, Lean/Six Sigma, ISO standards, and quality assurance is essential for success in this position.
As the Operations Director/Plant Manager, you will be responsible for creating, evaluating, and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support the scalability of our client's fast-growing business. Your oversight will encompass various areas including Industrial Capital Goods Manufacturing (Production/Scheduling), Materials Management (Procurement/Inventory/Demand Management), Logistics/Packaging/Shipping, Site Finance, Quality Improvement (LEAN/Six Sigma/ISO), Teambuilding/Talent Development, IT systems management, budgeting processes, costing models, lead time/fulfillment planning, and collaboration with engineering and senior leadership.
