As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Lumicity, you will play a crucial role in developing production plans for manufacturing work orders. Your responsibilities will include developing clear work instructions, providing timely responses to production inquiries, maintaining organized redlines for travelers, conducting thorough reviews of engineering travelers and Bills of Materials (BOMs), and documenting issues promptly via email. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing inspection activities to ensure conformance to specifications, managing tool design processes, interpreting mechanical drawings accurately, and ensuring that daily operations meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings, proficiency in producing technical drawings and work instructions, excellent spatial analysis skills, familiarity with military standards, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing cable and electro-mechanical assemblies. A background in aerospace and electrical engineering as well as experience in a manufacturing environment are also essential qualifications for this position. You should be proactive in seeking process improvements to minimize production errors and demonstrate leadership skills in managing complex projects.
