We are currently seeking a skilled MEP Manager to join our team. As the MEP Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects. Your role will involve managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals. You will play a crucial role in developing project plans, coordinating tasks efficiently, and maintaining quality standards throughout all project phases.
Key responsibilities of the MEP Manager include managing the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems; developing project plans and schedules; coordinating with various stakeholders; ensuring compliance with quality standards and building codes; conducting value stream mapping for process improvement; implementing design for manufacturability principles; facilitating cross-training initiatives for team development; overseeing quality assurance processes; and utilizing project management tools for progress tracking.
To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, proven experience in project management within the construction or manufacturing industry, strong knowledge of mechanical systems, experience with product development and design for manufacturability principles. Additionally, excellent communication skills and leadership abilities are essential for this role. Software controls skills are a plus.
