Director - Procurement

As the Director of Procurement at Chalhoub Group, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing strategic sourcing processes for non-merchandise goods and services. Managing annual spend and supplier relationships are key responsibilities in this role. You will establish category management strategies across logistics, facilities management, IT services, marketing, and indirect spend areas to optimize procurement processes and enhance supplier performance. Additionally, you will drive innovation within the procurement function to maximize value for both the Group and its partners.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management with at least 12 years of experience in indirect procurement. Strong leadership skills are essential along with expertise in SAP Ariba and other procurement systems. Your ability to develop and execute procurement strategies that drive value will be crucial in this position.

• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in indirect procurement with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within the retail or FMCG sector. Direct procurement experience is a plus.
