Lobo Management, a reputable firm in the United Arab Emirates, is looking to hire a Finance Manager-Retail for their retail business. As a Finance Manager-Retail, you will play a crucial role in optimizing financial performance, managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control to support business growth and profitability.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with business objectives, setting up financial models for newly incorporated companies, conducting variance analysis for informed decision-making, ensuring timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), overseeing compliance with UAE tax laws (VAT, corporate tax), and coordinating with external auditors for annual audits and statutory reporting. You will also manage retail-specific finance operations such as POS system reconciliation, sales reporting, margin analysis, store financial performance monitoring, revenue recognition accuracy evaluation, expense tracking accuracy assessment.

Moreover, you will evaluate promotions from a financial perspective and develop internal controls to prevent fraud and discrepancies. Identifying financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies while ensuring secure handling of retail transactions are essential aspects of this role. Collaborating with senior management on business expansion plans and liaising with banks for financing needs are also part of the job requirements.

The ideal candidate for this position should hold a CA/CPA/ACCA or MBA Finance qualification with at least 5-8 years of experience in financial management within the retail/fashion industry. Strong knowledge of IFRS standards, UAE tax regulations, expertise in financial modeling using ERP systems like SAP or Oracle along with advanced Excel skills are necessary.
