We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant (Emiratization) with at least 5 years of experience to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting overall financial operations within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes and reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations such as VAT and corporate tax while assisting in tax filings.
- Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations regularly and monitor cash flow effectively.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives within the finance department.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide necessary documentation for external and internal audits.
- Prepare detailed financial statements and reports for management review while ensuring adherence to IFRS standards.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting practices, VAT regulations, and tax laws in the UAE.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for problem-solving.
- Attention to detail coupled with strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools is essential for this role.
